Alexander Mann, his first recruitment business, sold in 2013 for £260 million. His second recruitment venture, Humana International, grew to 140 offices across 30 countries.

Living with his family in Sydney, as CEO and Country Manager, Steve Tolen is an ambassador of the RE Brand in the APAC region and is currently working to identify potential local partners and JV’s to help launch Recruitment Entrepreneur Australia.
For almost twenty years, Steve has developed extensive knowledge in BD within recruitment. In his previous role as Business Development Director at Allegis Global Solutions, Steve was involved in leading new business development within the contingent workforce sector, across the Asia Pacific region, and was solely responsible for the creation of the marketing, events, and lead generation strategy of the business. In 2019, Steve was awarded the “Best in APAC” award for BD achievements.
Prior to joining Allegis, Steve spent 3 years as a Director of Business Development at Randstad Sourceright. During this time, he was awarded the APAC ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award for Q3 2015 sales performance , and was responsible for the qualification process of all sales team opportunities.

Peter brings a strategic vision through constant learning, product & service innovation and a passion for success.
Peter started with CXC in 2000, when the company was just a small business of 10 employees. He has worked from sales, management, business ownership and now global CEO, experiencing firsthand the radical shift in the modern workforce.
Broadly, Peter’s expertise covers contingent workforce management, HR outsourcing, risk & compliance, and talent solutions. In 2010, he co-founded CXC Financial Partners, an independent financial, tax, property and mortgage advisory service to the contractor marketplace.
In June 2018, Peter moved to Singapore to continue to drive CXC’s international expansion.
When not working, Peter loves boating, fishing and hanging out with his wife and family.

As Investment Director, Martin is responsible for identifying and onboarding Local Partners and Country Managers, leveraging his existing relationships and network to identify potential new founders in the region. He will utilise his vast experience within the sector to help coach and develop entrepreneurs to scale their business to achieve a realisation event.
Having lived in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, he brings a unique knowledge of the region to Recruitment Entrepreneur International. Martin moved to Australia in 1997 where he was responsible for growing ANZ’s leading technology recruitment business - Morgan & Banks Technology.
When this business was acquired by Hudson, Martin took leadership of Hudson’s professional recruitment businesses across Australia and New Zealand. At the same time, he was the driving force behind a number of significant of acquisitions and their subsequent integration into the organisation.
Following a few years as CEO of Beilby Corporation in Australia, Martin moved to Hong Kong as CEO to play his part in building out Talent 2’s Asian capability. Since then he has remained in Asia, frequently travelling to Australia, occupying key roles with Kelly, Randstad and, more recently, his own consulting firm.

Ingrid is responsible for leading the business, keeping CXC’s goals in sight and balancing the priorities of each department, our staff and our operational success.
Ingrid’s background is in finance. She joined CXC in 2001 and has since constantly pushed for evolution and being ahead of the market’s needs.
Previous to her current role, began her career in the accounting and banking industry in 1991, having a Cost and Management Accountant diploma. She has worked as an Operations Director for CXC since 2003 and became CEO in 2008.
When Ingrid is not at work, she enjoy Saturday morning breakfasts with her husband and watching her son play footy.

Bo Medved is CXC’s Global Chief Financial Officer, responsible for managing the daily activities of the finance department, while also providing a strategic commercial vision for CXC’s future planning.
Bo has previously studied at Deakin University, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & HR – so his skills and training fit perfectly into the CXC landscape. Starting with CXC as a Financial Controller, Bo is proud of his track record for keeping a tight handle on the profitability, liquidity and sustainability of the business.
Together with his team, Bo works with our founders to ensure they have a smooth-running finance function from day one.
When Bo’s not at work, he’s a keen soccer fan, and is currently a karate blue belt.

Chris is responsible for the legal, compliance, human resources and risk management function of CXC. He ensures CXC’s services are always compliant when it comes to taxation, industrial relations, workplace health & safety, workers’ compensation, migration and insurance.
Chris has over 15 years’ experience helping design and implement programs that manage the commercial and compliance risk in the contingent workforce space. His background is in recruitment, contractor management and contingent workforce risk management.
He is adept at assessing risk associated in dealing in the above areas and implementing compliance regimes to remove or mitigate risks.
When he’s not at work, Chris has a passionate interest in politics, social justice and economic issues.

Darren’s job is to work with our corporate clients to deliver the highest performing workforce possible.
With a background in recruitment, start-ups and recruitment process outsourcing, Darren’s role running the client services function for CXC capitalises on his expertise. It’s a role where he can deploy his ongoing commitment to continuous service improvement.
Darren creates high performing cultures through the attraction and retention of talent and the maximisation of corporate knowledge, networks and partnerships.
When not at work, Darren spends time with his wife, two young boys and their trusty Labrador. He loves learning, sports, ocean swimming and gardening.

Marie graduated in 2002 with a double Degree in Public Relations and Journalism and a major in Marketing.
Marie brings a wealth of experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, developing engaging designs, and innovative online campaigns while supporting lead generation across several different touch points.
Her passion for digital marketing, coupled with her eye for creativity is key to supporting the expansion of our brand.
Marie works with our founders to build their brand and identity. With Marie's guidance, our founders identify their own brand persona, develop an online presence, PR and communications strategy, and marketing collateral. Setting them on the right path to becoming the recruiter of choice for both clients and candidates.
Outside of work Marie enjoys traveling with her family, watching documentaries (on just about anything), and training in Muay Thai.

Ursula is a proven Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in managing diverse projects in the domain of implementation of recruitment services, outsourcing, and business process improvement.
Ursula takes a collaborative approach to defining solutions, leading projects, and driving change programs in a way that achieves benefits, efficiencies, and improvements and positively engages all stakeholders.
Ursula has a Prince2 Practitioner Certification, a certificate in Change Management from the University of NSW, as well as a certificate in Six Sigma Foundations from the University of Technology Sydney.
Ursula works closely with our founders through the journey of implementing their new company.
Outside of work, Ursula enjoys creating her own ceramic masterpieces and exploring the great outdoors.
